About Us

Authentic relationships. That's how I would describe our church! With one another, and more deeply, with our God. Visitors often comment on the warm friendly atmosphere of our group. Whether you are just beginning your search for meaning in life, or you are looking for a place to grow in your faith, anyone can feel welcome! Those who have been with us a little longer will tell you that our commitment to community grows out of our ever-growing relationship with Jesus. Our various ministries are meant to challenge and nurture you at every stage of your life, whether you are still in college, a hard-working single, or a married couple. We have specific ministries for men and women; for seekers wanting to ask hard questions and in-depth Bible studies for mature Christians. We have a place for your questions and your needs. So come and visit. Join us, as we strive to become the kind of church that brings a smile to the face of our Lord!

Alpha
This group meets in a non-confrontational home setting where Christians and non-Christians alike can feel free to raise and discuss their most enigmatic spiritual questions. Topics of inquiry range from but are not limited to: Who Is Jesus? Why and How Do I Pray? Who Is the Holy Spirit? How Can I Be Sure of My faith? How Can I Resist Evil?

Weeknight Bible Study
Our Bible studies offer opportunities for in-depth study of the God's Word in an encouraging, friendly atmosphere. The aim is to realize its timeless relevance of the message of hope in a personal, meaningful way. Some of the study series that we have completed in the past year include: "The Jesus I Never Knew", "Life of Faith: Following the Footsteps of Abraham and Sarah", and "The Sermon on the Mount". Presently we are going through a series of studies on the Old Testament book of Leviticus.

Spiritual Lunch
We often find ourselves compartmentalizing our physical and our spiritual lives. Thursday Spiritual Lunch is meant to help bring prayer and meditation into your workday. Gathering together with fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord helps us to be revitalized and be refocused in our common walk, as you take a break together in a time of prayer.

Motion

Motion is the college ministry at Bethel Community Church dedicated specifically to serve and minister to college-aged people. Our aim is to serve Christ by providing an atmosphere and opportunity to worship our Lord within the church and encouraging members to go and worship Him consistently in all parts of their lives. Through equipping people to live and serve in their own unique way, our hope is that college-aged people will be able to heed their call to glorify Christ and share in His joy.

S.P.A.R.C.
SPARC is an acronym for ¡°Singles Preparing Active Readiness in Christ." We acknowledge that being single is a blessing from God, and that He has set this time apart for us. SPARC is committed to developing a Christ-like character in each of us. Our monthly meetings give us the opportunity to come together and go through life-applicable studies and in-depth discussions to address many of the issues that we share. There are also many SPARC activities throughout the year to promote community through Christ-centered fellowship. SPARC is a place where we can relate to God and one another in an authentic, genuine way. Come and see for yourself. SPARC will help enrich the quality of your life and your relationships.

M.F.J.

We like to think that our group M.F.J. as the inmost part of Christian Marriage. We are a group of married couples seeking guidance by God in our journey of adventurous road called Marriage. M.F.J. simply put, stands for Married Filinf Joint. Expedition to what you ask? Well, to God and fulfilling marriage. We meet once a month to share, discuss, and learn about what we go through during marriage and how it affects as Christian Couples. We have great fun while we learn about each other and about ourselves as couples. So, if you would like to meet friendly and interesting couples, please give us a try.
